Life in the FOG…

Over the past few weeks I have had this idea running through my mind. We had the opportunity to go worship with Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC and Pastor Steven Furtick shared a message on Favor. My initial thought was only hyper charismatic out there in lala land pastors talk about favor. God has completely changed my mind on this vital part of who God is. The idea that the God of the universe would decide to show his unearned favor to a human being is amazing! The unexpected blessing that could only come from God. There is no formula or magic word to evoke God to show favor to you. God choses you to do something for us so that we will point back to Him. Favor doesn’t always look the way we want it to look. Will you start looking at your life to see how God is showing favor to you. When some tells you man you have a nice _______… Don’t feel guilty point them to God. God blesses so that His people will give Him glory for all he has done.
